Trust me, this is a great opportunity for your NHS seniors to get recognized for their hard work and leadership at your school.
Last year, I was chosen for an NHS Scholarship because of my commitment to my school work, service, and leadership. It was awesome to be recognized for all of my efforts, and I was grateful to be awarded over $5,000 to put towards my college tuition.
If you have senior NHS members thinking about college, encourage them to apply to the NHS Scholarship by Nov 30! And don’t worry--there’s not just one winner; NHS will award 600 students with a scholarship!
Be sure your students start their applications before it’s too late!

How to Apply
- Senior members of an active NHS chapter who are in good standing are eligible to apply for an NHS Scholarship.
- NHS Members must create a student account before they can access the NHS Scholarship application.
- The NHS adviser must verify the student’s membership before the student can begin the application.
- Verified NHS members may start the NHS Scholarship application beginning on October 1.
- All applications require two recommendations, and certification by the NHS adviser in order to be considered complete. Incomplete applications are not evaluated.
